Rick Dias Taurus Two
Hilda's Rick Dias screamed through a hard break as her fire scattered across the stars, missing the big guy who was boring in. He returned the favor, sending staccato fire back for her from a pair of beam guns in his hull. Hilda skated out of the way of those shots, only to land right in the front yard of one of the other Titan bastards. He came in swinging with a beam saber. Before Hilda could get her own weapon up and into a defensive position, he cleaved right through her arm, taking the clay bazooka with it. "Bastard" she snarled as she drew her own saber, sliding right before goosing her engines. If he wants to oblige by closing to close range... she thought, whipping her own saber in a vicious downhanded stroke as a counter to the prick. ____

Asshimar Melchior Three
Julian's shots went wider than he would've liked, missing the Dom-type machine as it moved to evade. It seemed that losing his machine's arm was playing more havoc with the AMBAC than he had initially realized and he was going to have to further compensate for it if he wanted to be of any use to what was left of the Magi. Still, his botched attack still sent the AEUG machine into the waiting jaws of Gage. The sight of the Marasai's beam saber carving through the enemy Mobile Suit's arm filling him with a slight degree of satisfaction.
Still, Gage's interruption had stolen away Julian's chosen opponent and he was forced to reassess the situation. Gage was handling one enemy machine, Katharyn another, and Sinclair doing the same. That left three hostiles completely open in front of him: The sniper that had been causing so much havoc among their ranks, the GM-type that had damaged him earlier, and another Dom-type that seemed to be blasting music of some kind.
As far as psychological warfare went this was by far one of the weakest attempts Julian had ever witnessed.
Juggling the three possibilities in his mind, Julian tried to come up with a decision. Sniper is to far for my weapon. Trying to get close to him will open me up to the other two. Non-starter. Dom-type seems to be focused on Gage in melee. Could attack but would need to close distance and open myself up to sniper. GM-type has his back to me and is still trying to finish of Jaime. Bastard needs to stop now.
Coming to his conclusion, Julian raised his Asshimar's remaining arm and pressed down on the firing stud. He unleashed a torrent of beam energy at the hostile, shooting until the clip went dry and filling the space between the two of them with lethal energy. Even if he still didn't manage to hit his foe he could at least throw him off of Jaime's ruined machine. At this point that was the least he could hope for. ____ Maneuver: Aim (1 Boost on Attack) Action: Called Shot for Anderson aiming at gun arm (1 Upgrade for SoT + 1 Boost for -1DV + 2 Challenges) Weapon: Beam Assault System (0/3 Remaining) (1 Boost for Close Range) Range: Close Specialty: Brawler (1 Upgrade for Close Range with Assault Weapon) Paradigm: Steamroller (Unload Ability for 1 Upgrade and 1 Boost) Final: 3 Upgrades + 4 Boosts + 2 Challenges

Still pretty nimble without that leg. Angling for another shot at the red Titan, he thought against it as the pilot ducked into melee with Hilda’s own Dias, slicing off its gun arm. The kind of situation he’d love to help out with except just like with the fleeing Quel, he wasn’t feeling too confident with both suits tangoing so close together. It didn’t stop him from singling out the new model zooming in for support though, the thing blasting away at Jim. “Watch yourself.” Wheeling around the tussle in front, the Rechts hefted up its weapon once more and steadied its aim. Once everything was set and loaded up, the last shell fired off towards its target.

After the enemy unit fired on him again, he'd failed to move in time due to his lowered agility and took another hit, this time losing the left arm below the elbow along with his second beam pistol, it was empty but it would have still functioned if he'd replaced it on the backpack. The other one was empty as well, which was a pain but he did still have his bazooka if nothing else so he placed his remaining beam pistol on the mount to allow it to charge, before grabbing the larger weapon from it's rack. Reloading it with one arm would be a pain, not like he'd have a choice though considering the state of his machine, it was that or use his beam saber, but he wasn't at that point yet.
Once the bazooka was ready to fire though, he saw that enemy machine that had been shot to pieces at long range, apparently trying to get away from them, which was something the idiot should have done much earlier, still it didn't look like anyone was engaged with the asshole, so he targeted that unit rather than the GM he'd been shooting at, Fred didn't want to let him escape after all. "Like we'll let you get out of here asshole, you shouldn't have rushed in alone." he said after firing the weapon at his new target. Besides, this asshole he had been shooting at would still be here once he dealt with the damaged GM, they weren't trying to run away like their buddy was. If they thought that they'd be allowed to attack them and then run away freely, the Titan pilots were sorely mistaken.
Still, he knew that he needed to get some fire out, and due to the range, he decided to get off as many shots as possible, firing off the remaining rounds from the bazooka's magazine. If needed, he could always chase the guy afterwards, but right now, the main thing was going to be firing on him before he got out of range. Besides, firing off the explosives from the bazooka was something he'd rather do at long range than firing them at the closer Gm that he had previously been firing at.

Jim watched his shot sail wide of the fleeing Titan. Just because I missed with that one, son, doesn't mean I'm done he thought, flicking the switch to slam a fresh E-Pac into his rifle. Jim was heads-up on his way through, though, and that was why he spotted the new and big guy taking a shot at him. As he slammed the new E-Pac into his weapon, Jim slipped to the right, ducking the plethora of lighter beam gun fire clearly designed to blow off his rifle arm. "You're gonna have to do better than that, asshole" he muttered as his indicators glowed the green of a fresh E-Pac.
Jim slipped back onto his target, smiling thinly as the bastard clearly tried to run for it. Leaving him on a straight vector for home - and oh look, right into my preferred engagement range he thought, keying another widecast so that the Titans could hear him. "Running away, you coward? Bask doesn't suffer that gladly... but don't worry, I'll kill you before he can teamkill you" he offered as he sighted in. Jim smiled thinly, target brackets jittering over the Titan as he squeezed the trigger, sending a stream of fire for the fleeing, crippled unit. Katharyn ejected her rifle’s spent e-pac and instantly racked a second one, taking advantage of the fact that her quarry appeared to be preoccupied with another unit - and he wasn't the only one, as she saw that the unit in question was being attacked from all sides by enemy forces, and so damaged that it was incapable of fighting back.
“Bastards...” She spat viciously, disgusted as ever by what she saw - multiple units focusing their fire on a single machine incapable of fighting back, to her, was cowardice. Of course, she’d come to expect that kind of thing from Zekes. On the other hand, this turn of events presented to her a unique opportunity, as her opponent, now bereft of one arm, had turned its back on her machine, drawing his bazooka to fire at the now fallen unit - Neston’s, she thought. So she leveled her freshly-reloaded rifle at her target, briefly checking that no friendlies were in her line of sight. ”Let’s see how you handle this one…" She commented dispassionately as she opened fire from his 6 o’clock, directly at central mass.

It was a simple thing. There was no time for Ensign Jaime Neston of the Earth Federation and Titans to give any poignant last words, or to even let out a shout of shock or surprise.
The volume of fire coming in was just too extreme, just too overwhelming. The remaining wreckage of the Quel simply evaporated, scattering whatever was within in to an uncaring void.

Asshimar Melchior Three
A bright flash told Julian all he needed to know. Even the shuddering impact of a bazooka round taking off one of his machine's legs didn't jar him as much as the sight of the burning ball of fire that had once been Jaime's Mobile Suit. The fact that the Ensign had met his end filled Julian with no sense of satisfaction nor true grief, but he knew that wouldn't be the case for the rest of the Magi. Many of them, Gage especially, had known him for much longer and would no doubt be struck hard by his loss.
Even so, Julian knew that there was no time to let it effect them now. He needed to make sure the death of a teammate didn't stun the entire team into inaction.
"Gage! Holcroft!," he shouted into the comm, "We need to fall back, now!"
Reloading his Asshimar's Beam Assault system with deft maneuver, he let out a burst of fire at the enemy sniper this time. Julian didn't even bother to see what kind of damage he'd done. For now he was just focusing on keeping the AEUG as busy as possible as the team retreated.

"JAIME!"His best friend and fellow pilot had perished in front of him. Gage had an occurrence of deja vu. It keeps happening. Over and over again. I keep on seeing them in the periphery of my vision. They all just stood there- lined up on the edges of the road, all looking at the soldiers marching by with their white flags. No! Don't look at me like that! We were outnumbered! There was no way we could stop them. That is war, right? Things like this happen! Isn't that right?! He braced his head for the incoming nausea. "Get out of my head!"Daniel's fist struck the MDF, bringing himself back to reality. He was always like that. Always taking necessary risks. Always blissfully unaware of the dangers in front of him. Why did it have to end this way?! He couldn't tell whether his vision was blurry or that the screen was damaged. "Gage! Holcroft! We need to fall back, now!"
"Did you see that?! They hunted him down like rabid dogs! They killed one of their own! Is that what you call liberation?"The Marasai was resilient at first, but it relented as the retreat gained momentum. The big guy was in no condition to fight. “For a new model, you sure don’t act like it,” Ben grinned as he struck home for the fifth time, the explosive shell ripping through the bulky suit’s leg. Quite a stride he was on today, hell, the entire squad was on something of one, what with Jim finally putting down the flighty Quel for good. Not that he was there for their first couple scuffles but since Jaburo wasn’t a shining star of performance, this was the kind of rebound they needed. “Nice shot, Jimbo. Sit tight, I’ll be there in a bit,” he said before alarms began flaring up as a flash of pink ripped something away.
“Scratch that,” he sighed, a quick read of his suit’s status showing the right arm was out of commission from the elbow down, the bazooka disfigured and in pieces. There’d be no more ranged support from him. “I’m out of a gun so don’t get ahead of yourself. I’ll backup Hilda and Eddy.” Drawing his only other available weapon, a beam saber, he moved up with the rest. “Yeah, back them up with only a knife. What a plan.”

GM Quel
Kyle's GM Quel arrived to the battle area, he was scanning it visually. The flare of a mobile suit explosion was a sight to behold. It was clear though it was a Titan as the friendly identification code vanished off the screen in his cockpit. His mobile suit was at the very edge of the battle, even with max zoom features. He was barely getting the clear images of the enemy mobile suits engaging the other Titans pilots. Kyle gripped his controls as he gave the battlefield a look over and made his decision to charge into the battlefield.
Kyle braced himself, the GM Quel roaring to life as it launched into the battlefield. Thrusters firing and pushing the mobile suit toward the other Titan mobile suits and AEUG mobile suits. His radio came to life as he start contacting the other Titans pilots "Lieutenant JG Driscoll, all forces are to begin retreating from the battlefield. Orders from Captain Lynch.". Kyle took aim at the AEUG mobile suit that had just destroyed the one of the Titan mobile suits. As his mobile suit zipped in space and drew closer, he readied the beam rifle. Taking aim at a GM Rechts, he squeezed off a set rounds towards the unit as he was on the move. As he fired off the rounds, his communications turned to an open frequency. "Are you doing the right thing?" his question posed to the pilot he was now beginning to engage.

Rick Dias Taurus Leader
Eddy cursed under his breath as the spiky red mech managed to avoid the shell he’d shot toward it. His hopes of keeping his target’s interest were quickly dashed as well, watching as he quickly closed in on Steiner and engaged her in a fierce melee. Much as he wanted to continue shooting off his clay bazooka, Eddy couldn’t guarantee hitting Hilda by accident and wasn’t prepared to risk her life on blind faith. What to do, what to do?
Then, he witnessed Anderson managing to score a kill on one of the Titans, sending what was left of the crippled machine crashing into the lunar surface where it burned bright. Eddy couldn’t bring himself to smile at the thought. Sure, they’d depleted the Titans’ war machine a cog, but he found very little joy to be found in celebrating death these days. Instead, he decided to focus on the variable machine giving Anderson continued grief, give whatever that thing was a fight to remember.
But before he could, another machine jumped into the fray, a GM Quel. It took a potshot at Anderson, trying to hit his GM Rechts from where he wouldn’t be looking. “Regard, focus on Hilda. Make sure that red mech doesn’t get the better of her. I’m going to teach this new player some manners.” As he focused on the Quel, Eddy heard another voice call out on the open channel, asking if someone was doing the right thing.
Twenty bucks says it’s the pilot of that Quel. He sounds young and preachy. Doing his best to get a good look, Eddy decided to try his hand at something he hadn’t tried since the One Year War: taking out a specific component. In this case, he aimed at the Quel’s weapon arm. At the same time, he went on the open COM and issued his own challenge to the preachy Titan as he pulled the trigger. “You know, it's bad manners to butt in on another person's duel. It's even worse to question their motivations when you're wearing the colors of those that butchered innocent civilians in a manner befitting that of the now defunct Duchy of Zeon. Perhaps I should ask you that same question.”

Kyle had just squeezed off a group of rounds toward the AEUG mobile suit. His words had left his mouth across the communication's line when the attack from another mobile suit shredded his GM Quel's right arm. The beam rifle, along with the entire arm went up in a blaze and his mobile suit fired thrusters to stabilize after the impact. "Duel? Is that what you call hunting our comrade down like a Zeon Remnant?" he manipulated the controls, bringing his mobile back as he pulled away. "So fighting violence with violence makes you better? Because you can't change the system within? What is justice?" he was talking to the pilot who spoke to him. His mobile suit's thrusters carried it away from the battlefield, shield up to guard. "The only difference between us, is we are willing to commit to being evil in order to prevent further evil from taking place." he grinned. "In the end, you all lack the commitment to do what is required to keep the peace!" he laughed, switching his communications channel to the Titans. "All forces are to retreat from the battlefield! Immediately!". His mobile suit danced a bit to shake the fire he expected from the AEUG to stop them from retreating.

GM Rechts Gemini Lead
Jim's eyes tracked his fire as they moved towards the little prick. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth as the shot lanced straight into what was left of the Quel, the Titan unit rapidly converting to plasma. "Splash one" he called, only a little smug to the rest of the team. Jim heeled the Rechts over, snapping his sights onto another target, when his board beeped at him, indicating that there was another suit coming into range. And he seems to like me... he thought, cursing as he stepped on the thruster pedal and snap-rolled to port, deftly ducking out of the incoming. A voice Jim had heard too many times - one so full of self-righteous fury and utterly convinced it was right that it made him sick. Jim flicked to the open freq as Eddy drilled the bastard and gave him a piece of his own mind. Damn, well said Eddy. And naturally the little shit decides to come back for more... he cursed as he flicked his own comm line back open. "Listen well, boy. Anyone who is 'OK' with what the Titans do is an evil on par with the Zabis. Ask the millions of civilians that the Titans have murdered in cold blood about that when you get to Hell" he said, voice low with rage as he surveyed the field.
They're in a bit of a retreat. Bastard's gone, and now its time to deal with another... he thought, hearing Eddy order Regard onto the red one on Hilda. But he's hit, and lost his rifle. Steiner could use the help, let's push'em back he thought, lazily rolling the Rechts into a rocker pattern as he bracketed the red unit. "Steiner, I'm in on the one after you, break towards the new one and finish him off" he called as he opened up, sending fire right at the guy. _____
