History
The Titans search for a good mass production unit from their own developers took far longer than they wanted, so they turned to an outside contractor: Anaheim Electronics.  Granted, they had other reasons for investigating Anaheim - the 'ragtag' AEUG militia had produced mobile suits that were better than the Titans GM Quels and EFSF's Galbaldy Betas, and there was only one reasonable place they could have received them from: Anaheim.  After a high-level discussion, Anaheim handed their latest creation over to the Titans: the Marasai.  An evolutionary development off technology perfected in the HiZack and Rick Dias, the Marasai is a new and powerful unit designed for rapid assault and anti-mobile suit combat.  An excellent blend of agility and hitting power, and armed with a new Mega Beam Rifle that is quite effective at blowing holes in mobile suits, the Marasai is a solid entry into the field. The first production run has just started reaching the Titans fleet.
