Marasai Gaspar One
Victoria gritted her teeth as the second new unit opened up on her and prompted her to juke her sticks and forced her to clip a tree and her command horn promptly got bent from a number of branches. With a steady hand she yanked off a beam saber from the Marasai's shield. Trees everywhere would hamper her mobility, but if there was one thing that would stop that was a beam saber that cut through armor. With saber in hand Victoria minimized her silhouette and turned the Marasai so it's shield was facing the enemy Rick Dias this also put the beam saber behind Victoria as she boosted side to side and even back to get some space. Despite this space she was making she wasn't happy, her team was moving in for 'choppy' range, not what they needed. "This is Gaspar One, we're pressing in on two new enemy targets. I need pressure on the chaff ASAP!"
The little request from Jamie brought a rather dissatisfied look on her face considering he charged in for the Dom. "We're focusing fire, I want one of those new units taken down or something to serve on a platter to the commander, get to it you hell dogs. If you want to press in I want results! If I can get some distance I'll support but if not I'll push in after you two." Careful with her new beam rifle Victoria tried to shield the weapon the best she could as she tried to make some room between her attacker and herself and hopefully provide some covering fire.

GM Recht Taurus Four
"Whoa..." Marika was quick to try and track the approaching mobile suit and backed the Recht up slowly and angled up her shield but when the damn thing burst through the trees Marika's eyes went wide. "Whoa, whoa, WHOA!" The young woman braced the shield with both hands under the attack, both of the force of the attack and the beam saber the shield lost a good chunk and narrowly missed the left arm. Bringing her Recht back in a stumble, Marika held the wreck of a shield still up and felt the choice of a beam rifle had been a bad one in this case.
It was a bit comforting however to hear Chuck's voice although his comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. "I'm not worried about my ass right now Chuck, just don't burn my ass will ya?" Trying to stay out of Chuck's line of fire and stay mobile wasn't exactly the best thing she wanted to keep on her mind in the middle of a firefight. Awkwardly Marika tried to press the beam rifle up tight against the GM's body and sprayed out some fire hoping to push the damn pink thing away.

After expending the beam pistol's charge, Fred moved his unit behind a tree for some cover to conceal a good portion of the Rick Dias while his weapon was down, he then placed the empty weapon on the recharge rack so that it would be ready when he needed it again. While doing this he heard Steiner tell the Gemini team to set up a base of fire, while the Taurus team flanked them. "Roger Gemini One." he said, hoping that LeNoire's team wouldn't let them down while they kept the pressure on the Titans. He didn't have high expectations Taurus due to a lack of confidence in LeNoire, but maybe the man was better at taking orders than giving them.
After this, Fred saw the enemy back off to get some distance on him, which meant he had the fucker on the defensive and just needed to press his advantage while he had the chance, which was fine with him since he was supposed to help get a base of fire up anyway. So he used the tree as a brace to steady himself, brought up the clay bazooka in both hands, and took aim at the new model once again before firing off four rockets at the enemy unit. He was in the ideal range for the bazooka now that the enemy had backed off, and he wasn't going to miss this chance. He wanted to keep up the fire a bit longer before moving, as he didn't want to end up isolated from the rest of Gemini by pushing out to far.
He knew that victory in a firefight was generally determined by whoever put out more fire, and they had started off well in that regard, they just needed to keep it up long enough for Taurus to flank the enemy. Even so, it felt like the enemy pilots were inexperienced in combat on Earth with how they seemed to be acting, some seemed to be folding while others pushed in, like they couldn't decide what they were doing and expected it to be as straightforward as space combat. But he wasn't going to complain about that, in space all you had to worry about was enemy and friendly fire, fuel, and the occasional bit of debris, but here on Earth you had to add terrain, footing, concealed forces, weather, and your own limited mobility to that list. In combat the Earth was just as hostile as enemy combatants, the difference was that the planet didn't pick favorites.

The entire damn jungle seemed to be exploding into beam fire and exploding shells. So, after firing, Ennis made sure to get moving for when some of that madness came his way. Sure enough, no sooner had the the Marasai kicked off the ground with one leg than a shell detonated, covering the trees it had been hiding behind in more of that goop. The Titan machine hit the ground with its shoulder and tumbled back to its feet, crashing through trees and covering itself liberally in the mud of the jungle floor, hunkering behind its shield as the last of a beam fire barrage tracked to it.
"There you are, Eddy," he muttered under his breath. "Brought plenty of friends too, didn't you?"
The Marasai raised its beam rifle again and fired, sending more fire down range to join Miller's barrage.

Marasai Gaspar Two
"Sonova-"
He watched the incoming fire from his desperate opponent when coming down on top of her. Chuck's fire hit home, damaging his shield and nearly knocking him off balance. He projected landing short of his target.
"Get him off my ass, Jaime. This one's mine."
The veteran shifted his focus back to the target in front of him.
"You're not getting away!"
Gage considered his situation carefully. Marika was not challenging his combat with melee. Chuck was covering for her with precision fire. He had to press the advantage before Marika could choose how she engaged her enemies. Coming down hard, the Marasai knelt to a prone position after landing. The junior lieutenant had a peculiar idea on limiting her mobility. The beam saber slashed at the Recht's legs clockwise- attempting to stop her retreat immediately.

Rick Dias Taurus Leader
As he watched the clay shell explode into a mass of smaller pellets, pelting the jungle with each impact, Eddy cursed under his breath as his shot missed the target, Ennis’ new mobile suit proving too nimble for the attack. Even if it looks a lot bulkier than his old Light Armor... Of course, just as he was preparing to line up another shot at his old comrade, Eddy found himself set upon by a GM Quel and a pair of shots from its beam spray gun. These Quels have the worst sense of timing!
Deciding to let his shield take the blow rather than risk dodging and lose a limb, Eddy raised the slab of steel and ceramic and watched as it warped taking the first blast and blew apart taking the second, throwing the Rick Dias back a meter from the force. Quickly recovering from that jolt of gravity and regaining his focus just as Ennis decided to return the previous courtesy, Eddy shouted “Merde!” as his foot slammed down on the throttle pedal and yanked sharply to the left of the fire corridor.
“Still nimble as always, old man! I’m surprised seeing as your mech is so hefty!” Eddy commented to Ennis over the open channel as he saw Rey move in on the Quel. Good girl, keep that one occupied just long enough for me to give Ennis and his new toy a dent... Hearing as Steiner’s orders for Taurus to try and flank the enemy’s position from the right, Eddy rolled his eyes sharply as he took another shot with the clay bazooka at Ennis, this time at close range.
Switching back to the secured team channel, Eddy replied to Hilda's call. “Copy on all, Gemini Lead. Tauruses, do your best to disengage from current combat and flank around towards the enemy’s right! Light a fire under their asses and do it good!”

GM Quel Melchior Three
True to form, the AEUG pilot that Julian had shot at wasn't about to go down easily. Turning at the last moment, it had managed to soak up the fire from his Beam Spray Gun with its shield though it lost its defense in the process. He wanted to continue his assault on the Dom-type but he wouldn't have the opportunity. The blinking alert that was located on the left side of his headrest forced him to turn his attention to a different threat.
"Not quite!"
A quick backstep from his GM Quel caused a rocket from a bazooka to scream past him and blow up somewhere deeper in the forest, no doubt wrecking even more of the Amazon's tortured landscape. It was a valiant effort but trying to use a weapon like that in an environment like this wasn't going to be all that effective. Then again, what could he expect from Spacenoids trying to fight on Earth? Turning his machine to face who had fired on him, he was introduced by another AEUG machine unleashing a great deal of fire towards him as it tried to close into melee range.
"So," he breathed to himself, "Want to get up close and personal, huh? Well I'd be happy to oblige!"
Storing his Beam Spray Gun, Julian drew his machine's beam saber and he likewise charged towards the green GM. Carefully avoiding the hurried and undirected fire, his weapon came to life in a bright spear of pink energy. With a quick blast of his own thrusters he came face to face with Aluria's machines, their weapons clashing together in a bright flash that caused the cockpit's 360-degree monitor to dim slightly so he wouldn't be temporarily blinded. Still, the image of the rearing, red Gryphon would be plainly visible on his Quel's shoulder and shield, the beast seeming to be almost alive due to the strobing caused by the colliding beam sabers.
"Lieutenant Julian Miller at your service," announced the Titans pilot over the contact channel, his excitement obviously showing through his voice, "It's a pleasure to meet you, AEUG pilot! Glad to see that one of you has the balls to close in like this! Now, let's see how well you can dance!"
In truth, Julian had no way of knowing whether Aluria had actually heard his words, nor did he care. To him this was almost a game and taunting his opponent had always been part of it. Pulling his controls back, he caused his GM Quel to pull back from the saber lock the two Mobile Suits were caught in. Deciding to try and seize the initiative he rushed back in. Holding its shield out in front of it, the GM Quel brought it's saber down in a horizontal slash towards his opponent's head for a quick decapitation.
Defense: [From Benjamin = 1 Bazooka Shot (Precision Fire Upgrade + 1 Boost for Low Mobility Target + Close Range Setback + Good Shepherd Challenge + = Absolute 0 MISS)] [From Aluria = 1 Beam Rifle Shot (2 Challenges Against Attack + 1 Boost for Low Mobility Target + Good Shepherd Challenge = 3 Challenges on Attack MISS)]
Attack: [Skill Use: N/A] [Target = Aluria Ray] [Beam Saber/Melee = 1 Boost] [Under Suppressive Fire = 1 Challenge] [Low Mobility Target = 1 Boost] [Brawler = 1 Upgrade] [Total = 2 Boosts]

Rick Dias Gemini One
Hilda scowled as the Black Leg wormed his way out of her attack. Hold still already, Feddy. You won't be the first 'elite' I kill on the approaches to this base, so just let me make it quick she wished, hard eyes narrowing as the little prick tossed his shield. Now why would he... oh, cheeky bastard... she thought. She stomped on the pedals, boosting out of the way with her engines as he brought the tree crashing down on her. As she leaped, the saber went back in its recharge rack alongside the spent pistol as she pulled the good pistol out of its rack. "Where's that covering fire, Five!" she snapped at L'Ciel.
While still sailing through the air, the good beam pistol snapped into battery, and she opened fire with the pistol, sending lances of energy straight for him as she pirouetted through the air.

GM Rechts, Gemini Three
Sharp reflexes, he observed as the explosive shell sailed past the Titan and off into the forest. Solid machine it was, the Quel wasn’t the most dexterous of mobile suits (much like his Rechts) and this tight combat didn’t help matters either. Still focused on the GM, Ben moved to take another shot but stopped short as his view was blocked by another mobile suit, one of the Taurus pilots that had taken pot shots at his target.
“Oh for, don’t just jump in front like that,” Ben chided as he pulled away from the dueling pilots. He couldn’t hit much of anything this close and with almost everyone on top of each other, he’d likely blow them sky high as well if he hit someone. “Aye, aye, adjusting for a better shot,” he said in response to Hilda’s call. He knew exactly which two Titans she was talking about, what with one of them engaged and the other taking shots at L’Ciel.
Thrusters flaring in the night, the Rechts snaked around the outer flank of the Titan pair before sliding to a halt and hefting up its bazooka for a shot, the weapon's muzzle flashing as its payload launched off at the firing Titan.

GM Quel Gasper 3"Get him off my ass, Jaime. This one's mine." "Liiiiiiittle busy here Gage. Someone decided that they wanted to get up close and personal."Jaime had hit his pedals in reverse as he planned for the tree to fall, hopefully giving him a bit of distance while he had the chance to regroup with the other members of his squad. From what he could tell, Sinclair was falling back for support fire, while Gage had taken the initiative. It wasn't entirely surprising, since both he and Gage had been the in fighters in training. " I think I got a bit of space though. I'll be making your way ASAP, ready for scrum formation. Heads up Gasper Lead, any and all cover will make me want to kiss you."Cutting down the tree had given Jaime a moment of space, and he could start maneuvering again, but he was loath to completely leave his opponent to walk back at a moment's notice. "I need some kind of edge."Randomly, Jaime's eyes fell on to his dropped shield, and the small grin from earlier split into a shit eating one. Jaime kicked his shield, punting it into the air between the bogey and himself, and aimed his CIWS at the exposed back side of the shield, knowing that a vulnerable e-cap would be there, and quite possibly suddenly diffuse under the small arms fire and raise one hell of a distraction between the sudden flash and shrapnel that it might generate. Banking on that, Jaime aimed his beam spray gun and switched from his CIWS, hoping to spray his opponent full of holes before scrambling his way toward Gage. ------- Fire Type: Salvo (Treated as Tactical before stunt effect) Range: CLOSE on Hilda, Joining on Gage's flank to guard Weapon1: CIWS, used in stunt to generate distraction effects Weapon 2: Beam Spray Gun, Assault (3/4) ammo, 1 accuracy Boost Specialty: Brawler Upgrade for Assault Weapon at CLOSE Range Target: 1 Setback (opponent DV) Other: 1 Boost (Successive Attack) Total Modifiers: x1 Upgrade, 1 setback, x2 boost, plus any applicable stunt bonuses

Marasai Gaspar One
Incoming rockets? Child's play. Victoria keyed up her CIWS and leveled her her beam rifle to hose down the incoming explosives in addition with her evasive maneuvers Victoria made her Marasai dance and watched as another tree crashed down only to detonate one of the bazooka rounds. A screen of explosions went up mulching trees although a round screamed by causing Victoria to swerve away to explode behind her.
Jamie's request for fire support with this hellfire coming down prompted a 'pfft' as she pivoted and turned her beam saber off to allow the left arm to be used as a brace for the beam rifle. "I like to stay clean Three and any and all 'support' is at a premium. Pull back and try to draw them in and we'll see what we can do."

Chuck cursed as the bastard he'd been firing on managed to deflect the fire off his shield. Then the little prick turned his back and starting firing on Petrenko. "Kid, watch your ass!" he called, meaning Petrenko as Eddy called in a plan. Easy enough for me to work my way around, but not until I can get them off the kids... he thought, not wanting someone as young as Petrenko to join Emir. Or McKay... he thought, remembering another time, another place, and another young face.
He kept circling the scrum, surprised that after the mess of fire he'd drawn as the first man engaged that no one was shooting at him. Their funeral he thought, taking the time to line this one up. "Stay off my team" he muttered, unaware he had the transmit button keyed for the open freq as his pipper fell on the target. With that, Chuck squeezed the trigger again and again, sending precise bolts of lethal energy for the bastard he'd been on since the combat started. Target: Gage (1 Setback for high-agility target)

Fred was dissapointed that not a single rocket had landed on target, he was regretting that he'd brought a magazine of clay rounds, as he could have used the spot for another magazine of standard rockets, but there wasn't much he could do about it now and he still had a few magazines left anyway. He didn't want to let up his fire, so he couldn't grab the fully charged beam listol without switching the bazooka to the left hand, and wouldn't be able to reload with both hands occupied if he did anyway. No way was he going to prioritize the beam pistol over keeping his main weapon up, his best bet would be finishing this mag and then buying himself some time to reload.
So he took aim at the enemy machine once again, as he moved around the target for a better shot after the evasive moves the target used had moved them behind some trees. "Just get shot and die you fucker." he said as he fired off the remaining two rockets from his magazine at the enemy machine. His weapon was down once the rockets left it, but he didn't want to try to reload until he got a chance to pin the enemy machine down. The sooner Taurus got on with flanking these pricks the better, he knew a lot could happen in the seconds it takes to reload and he didn't want to let the enemy figure out he needed to reload till he had done it.

[OOC: Staff(Redshirt)-authorized non-fatal force hit on Rui L'Ciel]
Katharyn let out an exclamation of savage glee, as her attack connected, taking off the enemy GM-unit's head. However, before she was able to press her advantage, alarms rang in her cockpit, alerting her to an incoming enemy attack and forcing her on the defensive.
"Damn it!" She swore under her breath as she pivoted, bringing her shield to bear and engaging her GM QUEL's thrusters. The enemy bazooka round slammed into the upper edge of her shield, barely avoiding a direct hit on the arm. However, that was not enough to avoid partial damage, reducing the arm's mobility.
"Fuck." She swore again under her breath. "Another hit like that, and that arm is slagged." She saw the attacker closing in, and maneuvered to maintain the range between the two of them, shifting towards the edge of the clearing towards cover, even as she raised her beam rifle and counterattacked, aiming for center mass and firing.

Marika pulled back on her sticks as her enemy began moving and fired her thrusters briefly to jump her back, her fight or flight instincts were screaming at her to get some distance with an enemy this close and she was happy to oblige when the flash of the beam saber being swung caught her eye. She didn't even register the damage readouts as the young woman focused on her landing, first her right leg which had been further back during the thruster jump; a moment later Marika's GM moved it's left leg back to slow it's pace only for another more louder alarm to blare as the damaged leg snaps. Working quickly Marika brought her mobile suit into a crouch having gone down to her damaged knee and was quick to realize the pink mobile suit had gotten to her with that slash.
"I'm not going to get away fast like this guys!" Propping the damaged shield up Marika lifted her rifle up and opened fire once more trying to drive the attacker away from 'wounded prey'.
