History
The RMS-106 Hizack is the first mass production mobile suit brought into the world by Anaheim Electronics. Its external appearance resembles that of the famous Zaku II series used by the old Principality of Zeon forces, and this design could only have been created by Anaheim, which has absorbed the Zeonic Company which was once Zeon's major mobile suit maker. Zeonic's development know-how is incorporated in the machine's inner construction as well as its outward appearance, giving it the same high operating reliability and ease of production as the Zaku II.
Its major improvement over the Zaku II, and indeed many contemporary high-performance units such as the Earth Federal Forces coveted GM Customs, was the introduction of a new, higher-output reactor, enabling the HiZack to employ beam weaponry without issue. This massive increase in firepower gave the suit the edge it needed to start replacing the GM Customs among the Titans’ ranks, although the GM Quel is still very popular for the same reason. Much like the Quel, though, the basic frame for the HiZack is almost 8 years old, and starting to show its age as the first new units roll off the assembly lines...
