Personality[/b][/b][/u][/SIZE]
Victoria has goals for herself and while she pursues them, she is ultimately not self serving, she takes others around her into account into account others around her and will often give up her personal glory to help when needed. The driving goal Victoria has striven for since the end of the OYW was being involved in mobile suit development and feeling firsthand the performance of new machines. She is no stranger to combat and won’t stray from it and her actual combat doctrine is rather destructive leading to some confusion on what she really wants to do given her skills. Her lack of xenophobia relating to Zeon can also put her on odds with some Titan members, but she generally avoids talking about things that will set off others.
Typically she can be seen as open to others, and is professional enough to put up with sometimes unsavory characteristics of those around her as she views the Titans as a means to an end. Ideology is not something that concerns her and it is instead her teammates and those she’s friendly with she worries about more than anything. This ‘loyalty’ is rather situational although from the right angle can seem as loyalty to whatever organization she’s in, instead of just her general surroundings. She however won’t say it’s what someone thinks it is and doesn’t try to correct people in this regard, if they want to think she’s loyal then she is. She is however friendly and can get along with most people thanks to her personality and holds little personal bias towards people unless they wrong her and even then unless it’s rather significant she will forgive them in time.
Her mobile suit doctrine meanwhile is violent and bloody, her goals typically are to apply overwhelming firepower right where it would cause the most damage and destruction. Often heavily armed and seen in the midst of her teammates instead of afar offering support fire she prefers to be on hand when she’s needed and remains mobile to help others.
Quirk wise Victoria is nearly always cold unless in the tropics and it’s primarily one of the only things she’s vocal about, this will often make her stand out as she’s dressed in an overcoat. The oddest thing is she doesn’t even like the extreme heat she’s used too. She also likes to talk about mobile suits and support craft. Lineages especially intrigue her and with Zeon influences popping up within new machines she is greatly interested in seeing where things are going.
History
Born in Florida Victoria earned one of her most defining features: her extreme heat tolerance and her sensitivity to even normal ‘temperate’ temperatures. For the first eight years of her life Victoria’s hometown suffered through a serious heatwave only abating to high temperate temperatures during the cold seasons. Victoria has since had a hard time in almost any region unlike her home and especially in the climate controlled colonies and ships.
Her parents ran a small private airfield, which her grandfather had bought after being a military fighter pilot for most of his life. As a child most of her free time was spent listening to him talk about his not so star studded career when she wasn’t running around the hangers to find something interesting. While it wasn’t the most interesting or inspiring way to start this was why Victoria eventually wanted to join the Air Force. The teenager made good grades and skipped a year before joining the EFAF at 17 at 0077.
When 0079 rolled around and the Zeon’s Earth Drop operations came that she really was fielded in earnest. Promptly her Wing suffered rather terrible losses on the onset of the conflict, especially the unit’s ground attack craft. Despite this and after getting over the initial shock Victoria’s wing began to pull around although at this point she ended up being one of the senior officers of the flight leaders. Due to their ineffectiveness against mobile suits Victoria and other flight leaders in the Wing are shifted to intercepting Zeon supplies and were moved from their FF-6 TIN Cod fighters to FF-3 Saberfish and FF-4 Toriares. Still Zeon’s efforts keep the Wing from providing any real direct combat victories unless they were fighting Zeon Dopp Fighters. By October of 0079 the Wing has one confirmed MS kill which Victoria’s unit is proud to boast they knocked down. Victoria was also proud to boast nine enemy fighters downed at that point while most of her flight had at least two if not more. It was around this time that GMs finally began filtering into the Wing. Those pilots that had taken well to mobile suit training were transferred into the new mobile suit squadron; Victoria was lucky enough to be one said pilot and took part in several missions along the Eastern seaboard. It wasn’t until December that the operations to take back North America started in earnest and most of Victoria’s wingmates were furnished in some form of mobile suit. By the 19th Victoria’s Wing was reorganize and given hasty space training before being transferred up into space to help bolster the space offensive. While they miss the battle of Solomon, Victoria’s squad is instead put on the front during the attack on A Baoa Qu. The battle leaves two thirds of the former Wingmates dead, while Victoria’s own GM suffered considerable damage by the battle’s end and is eventually recovered by cleanup operations.
With the end of the war Victoria’s shattered Wing was dismantled and the remaining pilots were reassigned. Victoria herself was sent to a mobile suit research and development team. Most of their work involved sorting through Zeon mobile suits and evaluating them alongside what few new models began rolling out during the post war period. Victoria herself provided test pilot data for the GM Kai and GM II and was involved with field testing with the GM Custom. Ultimately however she was not involved with any major conflict during Operation Stardust, although considering North America was the target of the colony, the Zeon remnants haven’t done much to abate her hatred of the terrorists. Victoria’s main mobile suit at the time would be the GM Sniper II.
Victoria joins the Titans during early 0084, with plenty of power being swept up by the and funding and development slipping away from the main Earth Federation forces, she decides to join the Titans in hopes of being kept in mobile suit development. Her plans and hopes were short lived however as she was pressed into mobile suit combat duty following a string of high profile attacks during the latter half of 0084. Victoria operated in several low key skirmishes. During this period she established herself as a solid pilot and loyal to a fault. Around February, 0085 Victoria is transferred to a more permanent position in space much to her annoyance. She eventually continues her low key nature until she is plucked up and tasked with providing security for the gassing of Colony 30 and was quick to take the assignment in hopes of getting reassigned later. During the operation she was on board the Alexandria and provided security for the operation, which ended up being very little given what the operation itself entailed. Either because she was unaware of the gassing or just turned a blind eye to the cause Victoria has continued her Titan’s service without a hitch, when asked about it she doesn’t comment and seems more focused on her piloting then anything.
From then on, ether due to her silence or lack of trouble being around the gassing her stock has gone up and was assigned to Luna II and took a more proactive role within the Titans but ultimately did little to gain much prestige for the next two years into 0087. The biggest highlight of her career with the Titans so far would be flushing a Musai and a Zeon remnant squad out from a resource satellite; she personally took out a Gelgoog and helped disable the Musai’s engines before her squad commander delivered the finishing blow. She was quickly plucked up for a new Squadron much to her surprise and annoyance at the potential of being pulled away from Luna II where she believed the newest Titan mobile suits would be fielded. Still she’s done her job under James Ennis and her hopes of ether getting reassigned to a development team were squashed when she heard they’d be assigned to a new cruiser instead of something more subdued. It likely meant they’d be facing combat frequently instead of most of her last assignments.
